This was a sensitive site for a small office development surrounded by Victorian warehouse buildings. The proximity of the surrounding buildings dictated a limited height and a geometry that would give the minimum of visual obstructions for the adjoining buildings. By lowering the footprint by half a storey and adopting the pyramid shape we achieved both objectives, and incidentally created a completely charming internal environment.
