About Packman Lucas
Packman Lucas was established in 1983 to provide a specialist structural design service for construction and design related industries. Since then the practice has won numerous awards for the quality of our designs, sensitivity of our restoration work and innovation.
We have a broad range of experience, mainly centred on the construction industry. From theatre design to 41 storey residential blocks, our portfolio also covers public art and specialist installations both in the UK and globally.
As well as being the principal of the practice, Ron Packman is also an Associate of Heatherwick Studio, collaborating on projects such as The Rolling Bridge in Paddington, London and the Zeitz Mocca Museum in Cape Town.
As you may have had time to explore, our portfolio ranges from domestic extensions and structural alterations to commercial new build developments. Our portfolio also extends to working on listed structures with historical importance and have worked in collaboration with artists and designers on public art installations.
Packman Lucas aim to provide cost-effective engineering solutions which compliment architectural design.
